THE AUHTOR; James Fenimore Cooper was born in New Jersey, North America, on 15th September 1789. Cooper had 5 brothers and 7 sisters. He was a student at Yale. In 1805, Cooper became a sailor, and he was un the US Navy until 1810.
In 1811, Cooper´s father died and Cooped married. In 1820 Cooper started to write adventures stories.
J. Fenimore Cooper died on 14th September 1851.

SINOPSYS
The story happens in 1757 when a group of people, Alicia and Cora Munro daughters of colonel Munro, Duncan Heyward, an induan guide called Magua and David Gamunt teacher of music that leaves to the british Edwar way to the William Henry. During their journey they encounter Hawkeye or Hawkeye, his two Indian friends and his son Uncas Chingachguk the last of the Mohicans.
After several accidents, failed to reach William Henry that is under the siege of the french Montcalm. Munro is forced to surrender, but the ferrets attack the unarmed british and there a lot of blod.
Magua has proven to be a traitor capture Alice and Cora and Hawkeye and his Indian friends Munro Heyward depart in search.
